Cartier Structural Design is a structural engineering consulting firm serving clients throughout New England and New York. Our mission is to provide comprehensive and innovative structural engineering solutions to support the built environment in a manner that best serves the project and client needs.
Cartier Structural Design is a woman owned business and a registered WBE. We partner with architects, owners, builders, developers and engineers to transform creative visions into successful projects. We are experienced in developing structural solutions for new and existing commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional buildings. Utilizing advanced technology including Building Information Modeling (BIM), Cloud Collaboration, Revit, and finite element analysis we are able to minimize structural conflicts with other trades, support architectural goals, and review constructability, minimizing delays in the field. Tiffany Cartier, PE is the Founder and Principal of Cartier Structural Design. Tiffany received her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Hartford. In 2009, her career as a structural engineer began in the heavy civil, transportation, and federal defense sectors. In 2015, Tiffany discovered her passion for building structures while working with the e2 Engineers structural engineering firm based in New London, CT. She thrived as lead structural engineer for single family custom homes, multi-family residential buildings, public and private K-12 schools, healthcare facilities and tenant fit outs, manufacturing buildings, and commercial structures. She is experienced in new construction and renovations throughout New England and New York, including coastal and zero lot line projects. Tiffany currently holds Professional Engineer licenses in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York. Additional licensure may be sought upon request.
